Drawing Eyes - 6 Mind Blowing Steps to Draw Beautiful Eyes

Posted by admin on November 26, 2008

What if you learned how to draw awe-inspiring beautiful eyes starting today?

This article will give you the exact 6 block formula to draw a beautiful eye and make your artistic dreams come true…

1. Anatomy Of The Eye.

Before you get started with the actual drawing of the eye make sure that you consider the anatomy of the eye.

Did you realize that the eyeballs we possess are not exactly spheres in shape? While you might think that the iris is flat, it is actually curved in shape.

2. Observe The Muscles.

Make sure that you observe the muscles and bones of the face accurately as they can be seen in some faces and not visible in others.

This mostly happens at the older age.

3. Check Out The Iris.

It is important that you look in the eyes of the subject with great detail.

Make sure that the iris is not accumulated with just one color but is filled up with different patterns and layers.

The white portion of the eyes is not exactly white if you notice it deeply. Therefore, make sure to add some shades to make it look natural.

4. Expressions make The Difference.

Tell your subject to change their expressions. This helps in making the look of the eyes different so you can see it from every angle and get a much better image of the same.

5. Happier Look.

If you want a happy looking eye make sure that you get your model to smile.

The expressions make the shape of the face change completely. When the subject is smiling at the muscles tend to press the eye and make it small and give a happier look.

6. Setup The Structure.

Setup parallel lines to make sure that your nose, mouth and eyes are placed in proper structure.

This will give the cutting of the face a perfect posture.
